Are You Ready to Spiral Upward?
For several preceding years almost everyone cut back due to a very down economy. This badly affected both business and job offerings – which again affected business. We were in a downward spiral. But it appears the economy has shifted for the better and it’s time to shake the cobwebs loose and begin to consider what’s next in our journey.
Signs that the world is ready for your work are: others seeking you out, offers of collaboration and new technology being announced. Take these seriously as they just might provide new ideas for you and how you next approach your endeavor. Most business takes place the end of the year as companies wish to finish well. Now is the time to review all systems and offerings in place.
Review what might appear as old-fashioned now. For instance, if you have goods for sale to ship, is there someway you might easily digitize them? Does some of your information need to be updated? Even a modern resume takes on new appearances from time to time. Update everything you believe requires doing so.
Once you have updated and/or discarded older methodologies, create the new. It can be as simple as reflecting on what you learned from the leaner years, what to avoid in the future, and teaching what will work best today. Share readily to attract a wider audience.
