Demonstrate “Why”?

Upon interviewing for a job or attempting to sell to another, the question the other party will have is “Why should I care about hiring you?”  How you answer will dictate your outcome.

1.  Prior to meeting, research the people and the company

2.  Research the industry to understand common problems and marketplace goals

3.  Consider whether you are able to assist in solving problems or increasing their productivity

When you recognize where you may fit in and benefit the company, begin building your story comprised of your experiences.  Develop short two-minute stories that increase interest and offer vivid explanation.  The more descriptive and interesting you are, the more attention will be paid to what you have to offer.

Most of all be authentic to build your personal brand.  People buy you, based upon liking and trusting you.  Enthusiasm and a two-way conversation will enable you to move forward and enjoy a very Smooth Sale!
